Town votes to spend 22800 for sewage plant repairs

At a local town meeting the sewer commission won approval to borrow 22800 for a digester heater heat exchanger and housing unit plus 800 to clean the digester. The deteriorating facility prompted the decision despite objections over borrowing.

Town Manager Study To Be Continued In Bristol

Bristol taxpayers favor council-manager form and reappoint the budget board to study the plan. A five member committee will continue the study with two additional appointees. Legislative approval from the state is required before any local change. The push for continuation came at a town meeting led by Town Solicitor Lucien Capone.
