Local ice dealers clash over Bristol price debate
Editorial responds to O A Johnson and P H Morris criticism of ice pricing. Johnson cites high costs and offers to sell ice at cost to buyers delivering it. Morris denies any cartel, argues prices fair, and proposes leasing 8000 tons of ice at $3 a ton to a qualified bidder. The piece notes regional prices and warns higher Bristol prices will affect everyday costs.
