Francis Josiah Gladding Dies in East Providence
Francis Josiah Gladding a Bristol native and longtime East Providence resident died at his Russell Avenue home after a brief illness Brights disease was identified as the cause. Born 1845 he married Mary Bowen at 24 and raised four children. He worked in insurance boot making and later headed the Exposition building at a recent Park event. A Mason Royal Arcanum and G A R member he served Bucklin Post No 20 and died leaving a widow four children and a son Louis employed by the government in Washington.

The Probate Court session led by Judge Reynolds granted the appointment of Sarah E. Munro as executrix of William Henry Munro with a bond of 8000. Manuel Rego was named administrator of Mary Lewis’s estate with bond 1400. Guardian for Mary T Irene and John T Hackett was appointed with bonds 400 each. Accounts for Geneva E. Gray, and inventories for Augustus Baker Isaac L Darling Martha A Hunt were allowed. Sarah Munro’s petition to sell a small dwelling on leased Wood street was granted.

Mrs Jane Nimmo aged 69 years 10 months and 27 days died at her Court street home after a long illness. Born in Scotland she resided in Bristol for years. She leaves three daughters and one son. The funeral will be held tomorrow Rev T Newton Owen officiating with interment at North cemetery.

Bristol Town Sells Sewers Bonds at Good Price
The Bristol town treasurer sold 340000 in sewer bonds to Denison Prior Co of Boston for 102.15 with accrued interest. Five bids ranged from 101.06 to 102.15, reflecting strong credit and a favorable market for a small town. The 80 year issue dated Sept 1 1902 matures Sept 1 1982 with semi annual interest and a sinking fund overseen by the Sinking Fund Commission.

The annual showing by Miss Handy's dancing pupils drew a large crowd of parents at the G A R Hall on Tuesday from 2 to 6 pm. Twenty five numbers appeared. four were standout fancy pieces in costume. Casts included Viola Brown Eddie Bunn Eva May Cole Harold Easterbrooks Fern Dixon Floyd Heustis Helen Church Francis Herreshoff Mildred Gorham Albert Earle Mildred Johnston Carl Rockwell Helen Connery Harold Peckham Jeannette Moffitt Ira Shepard in Court Quadrille. The Graces featured Fern Dixon Eva M Cole Viola T Brown Jeannette Moffitt Mildred Johnston. Spanish Waltz included Gladys Wiltsie Gertrude Bunn Charlotte Young Mary Easterbrooks Helen Connery Mildred Gorham. Gladys Wiltsie performed a Scotch Reel in Highland dress, a highlight. Straight Bros orchestra provided music and refreshments were served at intermission.

St Marys T A Society Plans Bazaar and Delegates Meet
At last evening's meeting of St Marys T A Society the group voted to hold a bazaar soon and named the entertainment committee to manage details. Banners and flags will be procured. J F Galvin resigned from entertainment and sick committees. James J Duffy was elected to fill the entertainment vacancy. The Belvedere Hotel will host the C T A Union delegates during its semiannual convention, and Charles Francis received thanks for presenting an original drawing of the battle of Santiago.
