Investigation On Concord Beaching At Hog Island
An inquiry began at the Federal building in Providence to determine how the Colonial line steamer Concord struck a hole in its hull on Hog Island shore Monday morning. About 200 passengers were transferred to the Sagamore and landed at the town ferry. A wrecking crew has worked since Monday and the boat is expected to be floated soon.
