Fatally Injured Att orney Curran Dies After Train Accident
Thomas Curran a Providence attorney and Bristol resident died hours after his left leg was amputated following a train wheels incident at Beach Terrace station. He was 58 and had lived on Beach Terrace for three years. The accident occurred when he lost his grip and fell under a forward train car as he descended from the platform. Curran previously worked in law firms Waterman Curran Hunt and later Curran Clason. He is survived by his wife Rose, two brothers, two sisters, and a sister in Philadelphia. The funeral was held at T F Monahan & Sons with a requiem mass at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral.

Pinafore Presented by Trinity Mews Club This Month
H M S Pinafore will be staged in Trinity Parish House on two evenings in April under Trinity Mews Club auspices. Major Fred M Straight, director, has released the cast including Sir Joseph Porter, Captain Corcordan, Josephine, Buttercup, and Hebe with Mrs Scott and Mrs Kennes among others. Only 200 tickets will be sold for each night.

Walham Cowles Celebrate 33rd Wedding Anniversary
Mr and Mrs Walham Cowles marked their 33rd anniversary Sunday at 34 Pierce Avenue. Thirty three guests from New York, Providence, Warren, and the local area attended, including Mrs Margaret McDermott of Providence, bridesmaid in 1894. Gifts included cut glass, linen, silverware and flowers. A turkey dinner was followed by a musical program.

School Committee approves Guiteras Memorial hires and plans
The Worcester area School Committee met in the Colt Memorial High School library for three hours. Harold C Clarke of Worcester was elected manual training teacher for the Guiteras Memorial School, salary 1700 a year. The session set 8 30 to 3 for junior high.
