Disbandment of Rhode Island Company C Stuns Town
The Second Regiment Infantry Company C in Pawtuxet Valley faced severe inspection failure led by Maj. Price and brigade officers. Governor Garvin ordered disbandment on March 31 1904 with honorable discharge for officers and men. State property to be cared for and a possible reorganization via a new Company C.
