Death Ends Priesthood Tenure of Rev. T. J. Gillan
Reverend Thomas J. Gillan longtime pastor of St Marys Bristol died at St Josephs Hospital Providence after a stomach operation. He began his Bristol work March 13 1908 and led the parish through the rebuilding of its church. Surviving are a brother Edward Gillan of York Pa a sister Mrs Charles Flanagan and a nephew William Gillan. Funeral is Monday at 10 a.m. with burial in St Francis Cemetery Pawtucket.
