Lincoln's Address On Bronze Tablet Dedication
A large crowd of 150 to 200 visitors from Rhode Island joined veterans and the Soldiers Home for the dedication of a bronze tablet bearing Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. The Fall River Rifle Men lost to the Bristol Train of Artillery in a three position rifle meet. Capt Ralph Bennett led the Train with 141 of 150 while WL McAvoy topped Battery M with 139. The series continues next Friday with Bristol traveling to Providence to face Battery S at Cranston Street Armory.
