Community Chest Plan Favored by Bristol Committee Report
A Bristol town committee endorses a Community Chest to fund social welfare agencies. It notes benefits for taxpayers and workers, cites possible costs between $600 and 800, and suggests recruiting 200 to 300 volunteers for a town trial. The report urges council approval and discharge of the committee after submission.
