Bristol proposes 1973 74 budget with no tax hike
Town Administrator Balzano proposes a 6 138 963 operating plus 140 800 capital budget for 1973 74. The plan raises operating costs by 329 831 but adds no raises for part time staff. School Dept cuts total 370 423 with 4 009 471 operating and 42 500 capital allotments. Eleven EEA employees will become town staff with funding through year end and 10 000 for mental health services and 20 000 for a garbage study.
