Former Democrats Favored By Republicans in Bristol Appointments
Two longtime Democrats, Francesco Langello and Frank Marshall, were appointed by the new Republican Town Council in Bristol. Langello became sealer of weights and measures, succeeding Michael Di Gioia, while Marshall was named appraiser of dog damages, succeeding David J. Walker. The council also filled the sewer commission vacancy with Anthony W. DuPont despite Democrat protest, and Denis G. Ferreira was reappointed dog constable. Special constables, 104, were appointed for Summer residents.
