Easter Sale by State Street M E Church Ladies Aid
The Ladies Aid Society of State Street M E Church held an Easter Sale this afternoon in the church vestry. The event offered home made food candy and fancy articles plus aprons beginning at 3 o clock with tea served at 4 30. Tea tables were led by Mrs Simmons Mrs Potter Mrs Richardson Mrs Hill and Miss Paull. Food table by Mrs Miller and Mrs Martin. Candy table by Mrs Bickford. Fancy table by Mrs Coggeshall Mrs Blaisdell and Miss Bosworth with Miss Peckham.

Soldiers' Home Comrades Entertained in Rhode Island
Members and guests of the United Spanish War Veterans Department of Rhode Island visited the Soldiers' Home Sunday afternoon. The entertainers included singing, a flag salute, welcome address by Mrs. Susan M Sheple, readings by Mrs. George W. Seamans, banjo duets by Earle Handy and E. D. Blanding, and a fancy drum performance. An orchestra with T. E. Northup and family provided selections, concluding with The Star Spangled Banner. Homemade cake and candy were distributed.

Bristol Bay Crash Leaves Teen in Critical Condition
James Fusco aged 14, son of Mr and Mrs Giuseppe Fusco, was critically injured when a truck driven by Michael Mancini collided with a touring car driven by James D McGinn at High and Constitution streets. He suffered a fractured skull and ribs and internal injuries and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital. Police reported both drivers claimed the other was speeding. several other occupants were treated for cuts and bruises.
