Bristol Artillery recruits for National Guard unit
At a Friday meeting the Bristol Train of Artillery voted to join the National Guard. Forty seven men signed to join Company 19, BTA, RI National Guard if medically fit. Paper signing continues at Lt. Suzman store. Annual officers’ meeting set for Thursday at 8 15 with members to report in uniform at 7 30. Information sessions offered at the armory Thursday 7 30–10 and Monday 8–10. Examinations will begin after signatures reach the goal.
