Effie Brown and the Seaside Boat Rescue Tale
Effie Brown sits on a weathered rock by Coldhaven as Everard Fiske waits for an answer. She slips into a small fishing boat to escape a litany of choices, drifts out with the tide, and is rescued by Major Gordon and the yacht crew after a tense chase.
