The narrative follows John N Fenwick who lived in this place in 1459, claimed to be Sir John Fenwick's son, and recounts a dramatic lineage from England. It details Clara Seymour, Lord Fenwick, treachery by his sisters, and an epic journey ending with Fenwick seeking justice in America and meeting Abraham Lincoln, the British Consul, and the Prince of Wales in Chicago.
