An 18th century notice invites young gentlemen to a 2 percent boarding school at Kirby Hill near Richmond. Run by Rev James Stubbs Hale and assistants, the school promises decent clothing, full education in English Latin Greek, writing and arithmetic, with books and necessities provided for one year. Admission ages six to twelve, and inquiries directed to Mr Arthur Pascha, woollen draper in Bristol.

Thomas Yeld of Barstol seeks votes and interest to succeed the resigning apothecary at Bristol Infirmary.
