Curtiss son of Mrs Carl Fauth celebrated his birthday Wednesday with playmates and ice cream. Major Burgess arrived Wednesday from hospital in Springfield and visiting him daily. Seth Williams arrived at Sheridan. his parents and fiancée Miss Hazel Keeley visited Sunday. Jerry had been in service 312 years.

Pvt William Kellogg and Pvt Paul Agerly of Scott Field were weekend visitors at the Kellogg home. Marilyn Emery visited Mrs Hubert Oakes Thursday. Mrs Emery and Richard were Chicago visitors. Mrs Verne Shaffer left Saturday to visit her son Lt Paul Shaffer in Washington DC and hoped to meet Mrs Amy Moore there.

A recent Mora Minnesota ceremony united Mildred Wolf daughter of Charles and Mrs Wolf of Elmwood Illinois with Private William Spafford son of Mr and Mrs Spafford of Webster Wisconsin. Mrs Spafford, home on 30 day furlough from Camp Turner North Carolina after fifteen months overseas.
