Greater Peoria Exposition Opens With Expanded Facilities
The Greater Peoria Exposition starts Friday and runs through October 6 with a new automobile entrance on Knoxville Avenue easing traffic. Highlights include the Swipe Show, Implement and Auto Shows, vaudeville acts, auto races and polo, harness racing, Domestic Arts, Better Babies Contest, National Swine and Implement shows, and a rebuilt grandstand. The event aims to educate and inspire better livestock, grains, and fruits across central Illinois audiences.
