Brimfield High junior clans stage The Mad Hatteras a three act play in the high school auditorium Friday night November 16 at eight oclock. Admission 35 cents for students and 60 cents for adults. The cast includes Gigi Mattermente Marriott Clark and Joe Hatter with a large supporting list of names behind them. Mrs Mary Conver Dies After Illness in Elmwood

Mrs Mary Conver died in Elmwood after a three year illness. Her husband Samuel I Conver preceded her in death. Survives include son Samevel B of Peoria two daughters Mrs Sarah Reen and Mrs Mary Orval Cunver of Elmwood, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, a brother John Boland and a sister Mrs Margaret Rees of Peoria, another sister Mrs Kate Maher of Elmwood. Services set for Thursday at 9:30 at St Patrick's Church with Rev Daniel Sheehan officiating and burial in St Mary's Cemetery.

Pictures At Methodist Church Sunday Evening

Two films shown at the Methodist church Sunday evening at 7 30. One twenty minute story titled At Work With The Word shows Bible work today. The other a forty minute film portrays the church and local boys who throw rocks at a window. Both depict church attitudes toward children and community action. No charge. offerings to cover expenses welcomed. All welcome regardless of church membership. Program runs about ninety minutes.

Grade School Opens Basketball Season at Alta

Grade school teams opened the season at Alta Tuesday night. The lightweights won 34 to 6 led by Kingdon with 9 points. The heavyweights lost 29 to 15 with Lindser scoring 5 points. Next game set for Elmwood Tuesday at 7 00. Ireland Ireland is half the size of Arkansas and has fewer inhabitants than Chicago.
