Brimfield PTA Opens Year With Meetings And Plans

The Brimfield Parent-Teachers Association begins the year with monthly meetings on the third Tuesday in the Community Building. Dues are 25c locally and 10c state, as part of the national organization organized in Illinois in 1900. Officers include Pres. Mrs. Henry A Blundy and Vice M. R. Clark. A Sunday program at the M. and church features Sunday school, worship, and Epworth League with sermons on In Remembrance and The World's Life Boat. The Ladies Aid meets Nov 3 at 2:30. The fall meeting is Nov 11 at the School Administration Building in Peoria, with reports and plans for Recreation Centers. Sun day school teachers meet Nov 4, and prayer meeting is Thursday. The Epworth League program and reception for new members was postponed due to weather. A stewards meeting is planned in the League Room Thursday after prayer meeting. The Hallowe'en Epworth League social in Woodman Hall drew many young people with decorations and refreshments. All are invited to worship.
