Easter Sabbath April 15 will feature a children missionary program. March 25 to April 1 is observed as a week of fasting and prayer. Evening services start at 7 30 at the church. Sabbath school attendance last week reached 109. The young men and Mrs Mercer teacher maintain high collection ranks. Next Sabbath evening the League service will be the only service due to the farewell to Dr Jordan at the Congregational church. A sociable at Southport last week featured an excellent program, refreshments, and a small treasury donation. Two long‑time members Dr Blanchard and Father Farnum are missed. Father Farnum recently celebrated his 89th birthday and belongs to Epworth League. A supper and bazaar at Day Hall by the Ladies Aid Society last Wednesday raised about 70 dollars. The Woodmen patrons contributed to the event.
