Joseph Lipreertep born near Yates City Illinois January 22 1858 was the third child of Samuel and Martha Littlefield He died at his Brimfield home March 21 1921 aged 68 years 1 month 20 days He came to Brimfield with his parents as a small boy
The obituary recounts the life of Mr. Littlefield a Brimfield public school caretaker who married Ollie Waples in 1883 and had four children Grace Clyde Marion and Mildred. He kept the school grounds neat and served tirelessly until illness forced rest. Funeral services were held at the M E church with burial in Brimfield cemetery. The report also mentions Eleanor Root a Berkeley writer and educator whose death will be interred in Brimfield.
Aunt Sue Terry born June 19 1840 Sheffield Ohio died March 13 1921 Peoria Illinois in her 81st year. She came to Brimfleet with parents siblings and later lived with relatives and at Proctor Endowment Home. A cantata Redemption's Song by Fred B Holton and other selections will be performed by the Methodist church choir Sunday March 27 at 7:30 PM with a program of choral and solo pieces and a final chorus. Public invited.
