Local Peoria Creamery Pioneer Charles A Church Dies
Charles A Church a longtime Peoria creamery founder died after a period of illness. Born in Bridgeport he joined the Burlington railroad then ran a laundry business before partnering with his brother Fred in the Peoria creamery. The enterprise grew into a central Illinois staple. Funeral services were held at the Masonic temple with Knights Templar involvement. He leaves a wife two sisters and three brothers and many old friends in Peoria and Brimfield.

Last Thursday evening’s Passion services reached a high mark across the four events.
