Brimfield Prepares for Peoria District Tournament Run
Brimfield High travels Friday at noon to Peoria for district action at the Peoria High gym. The Brimfield boys face Metamora at 2 p.m. with a possible 8:30 p.m. rematch against Roanoke if they win. A semifinal Saturday at 3:30 p.m. could pit Mania Princeville or Kingman, leading to a championship at 8:30 p.m. or third place game at 7:30 p.m. Coach Schneider aims to upset the favorites and cap a strong season.

Valentine Library Benefit Dance Impresses Township
The February 14 entertainment for the library raised 111.72 from dance tickets and a picture show. Special credit goes to Mrs. Homer Turker as general chairman and the Brimfield orchestra for music. The library owes 30 in rent and plans to spend about fifty more, while Mrs. Mary Tucker Anderson of Detroit donated another collection of late fiction.
