Congratulations pour in from the Congregational parsonage and News office as McFankay Toniey and Mr Stacy elroth of Brimfield marry. The couple, long esteemed in the community, receive warm wishes for happiness and a bright life together.
Newark man James Mersiion describes a long life-and-death struggle after lung hemorrhages and weakness. He credits Dr King’s New Discovery with restoring health, noting its effectiveness on weak lungs and coughs. The ad promotes 50 cent and $1.00 bottles with a free trial and guarantee by Robinson & Co. Miller & Hayward shipped a carload of ice for their meat market.
An ad claims Dr King’s New Life Pills relieve constipation and indigestion, restore appetite, and boost energy. It promises stomach, liver, and bowel regulation and notes the product costs 26 cents at Robinson & Co.
A garbled local page notes haying efforts, mentions Mrs Kate Charleston dying in Denver weeks ago, and Mrs Fo Wiley Harmon visiting from Peoria while in Brimfield. Families Earl Nixgu of Oak Hill are parents. a Lutheran church service in English at 10 30 Sunday is announced with all invited.
Olive Herriot read a paper on Mercy work at the convention floor on Wednesday morning. Rev E J Geilard and Messrs Hayes and Chas Hayes were appointed delegates to the Peoria County convention held here this week.
Richard died at the family home in Brimfield during Jubilee week on Sunday June 26 1911 after a brief illness from heart failure. He was about fifty years old and unmarried. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 PM at the home and the remains were laid to rest in Jubilee College Cemetery.
The mgpoy friende of Mr. I. B. Moore Wil regret to learn of her death yesterday afternoon at the home of Mr and Mrs Frank Belford. She had been in falling health for some time and died after a stroke of paralysis suffered last Sunday morning. She was 81. Survived by one daughter Mrs Ed Bruce of Omalis. Funeral Friday at ten at the Congregational church.
