Fred Kirkpatrick dies at Elmwood home

Fred Kirkpatrick born March 217 1873 in Bryant St. He was son of William and Cornelia Gibbs Kirkpatrick and survived by one brother Frank of Artesia and two sisters in law Mrs Pearl Murdoch of Peoria and Mrs Stella Greene of Elmwood plus nieces and nephews. He served four years as turnkey at the county jail and retired in 1947 moving to Elmwood. Funeral services were held Saturday at Claii funeral home Elmwood with Rev Theo Har greaves of Yates City officiating. Burial followed in Elmwood cemetery.

Mrs Frank Kaighin 54 died after a long illness in a Mt Pleasant hospital. Funeral held Monday June 1 at R K Grane Funeral Home. Rev James Marlin led service with hymns by Mrs Wm McClaren and Mrs G B Werrell. Survived by husband two children Barbara Sue and David, sisters and brothers, burial in Trinity cemetery Henry county.
