Missouri Synod poised to mark 75th anniversary
The Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Missouri, Ohio and other states will celebrate seventy five years on April 26, reflecting its growth from twelve Chicago pastors to about 3300 congregations and 1,000,000 baptized members. The organization supports missions in India and China, parochial schooling, Concordia Seminary in St Louis, and extensive charity including hospitals, orphanages, and homes for the aged.
