The Peoria Woodmen plan a historic gathering with five hundred candidates entering a single lodge, plus four hundred drawn from nearby camps within a 100 mile radius. Dignitaries Northcott and Graff will speak, the Veiled Bows of the Woods will perform, and a 106 acre Assembly Park hosts games before a mammoth 500-candidate initiation. The event is expected to draw about 10 000 Woodmen due to the low railroad rate.
