Brimfield Girls 4 8 club met at leader Mrs Julius Shaw’s home on June 2. President Earlene Collins opened the meeting with all members present. Sugar Board Still Busy issuing Canning Certificates
The Sugar Board reports 208 canning sugar applications at the Brimfield office before blanks ran out. New blanks restored, issuing will resume this month. Those who lacked ration card numbers may apply to O. D. Edwards after 6 pm for a certificate. Mrs. Gonella Carter reports 44 families and 174 individuals registered amid demand. Tennry and Mrs Carter will hold three days weekly 9 to 4 for registrations.
