Memorial Day Exercises at Brimfield Draw Big Crowd
A large audience attended Memorial Day exercises directed by the W R C with Hon C E McNemar of Peoria delivering the address. After cemetery services a supper for nearly four hundred was served, netting 110.68 dollars. The community enjoyed an evening picture show as well, with many locals and Peoria visitors attending. The Relief Corps ladies earned congratulations for the successful program.

Mrs Nancy Kellogg Johnson Obituary Brimfield Pioneer
Nancy Kellogg Johnson born December 23 1849 in Carroll County Minors grew up in Brimfield Illinois. She married Thomas Johnson on April 25 1869 and raised seven children while remaining active in the Brimfield Baptist church and community. She died May 18 1922 in Denver Colorado with funeral services held in Brimfield and Denver. she leaves two sons two daughters four grandchildren and one great grandson.

Memorial Day Tributes Draw Crowd in Brimfield
A large audience at the Community Building heard Mr. McNemar of Peoria and Rev. Diffenbaugh give Memorial Day addresses. A veteran called it the best ever Brimfield memorial. One hundred baskets held flowers gathered by children. High school girls carried the new town flag in the procession, though it could not fly due to a damaged pole. Next WRC meeting is Wednesday June 14 at 2 30 pm with ice cream and cake.

Firemen's Annual Ball Next Tuesday June Sixth
Lovers of the dance will remember the Fireman's ball and entertainment next Tuesday evening June 6. A special feature picture will be shown after which the ball is given. The play features Owen Moore in The Chicken in the Case. Admission 10 and 20 cents for the show. Home Orchestra provides music for the show and ball. Tickets to the dance cost 1.00. Everybody invited.

Brimfield Couple Wed In Quiet May Ceremony
Mrs Gwen dolyn Whittaker and Mr Clifford Blundy, both of Brimfield, united in marriage on Wednesday May 31 1922 at 7 30 am in the Congregational church Brimfield. Rev R A Harris officiated with only attendants present. The bride wore brown taffeta trimmed with rose buds and a turquoise maid’s dress. After the ceremony the newlyweds left by morning train for a brief wedding trip accompanying Attendants Margretta Carter Talbert Yerby and pianist Mrs John A Forney.
