Kerosene Explosion Burns 15 Year Old Girl

Theresa Frasner, 15, daughter of Mr and Mrs Billy Frasner, suffered severe burns when she added kerosene to a stove Sunday evening. The accident occurred as a younger sister summoned help and a nearby child helped Her flames were extinguished with water. She was rushed to St Francea hospital for treatment and remains in great pain with hopes for recovery.

Brimfield Boys Win Toulon Tourney Trophy

Brimfield High School captured the holiday tournament trophy after three wins at Toulon. They beat Toulon 25-14 in game one and Bradford 24-12 in game two, then defeated Wyoming 23-17 in the final. Day led scoring with 10 points, Babcock 9, Luthy 6, Hayes 5, Savage 2, and Floyd 1. Consolation went to Toulon over Princeville 33-30 in a tight finish.

Funeral services for Mrs Nellie Bristol Held at Wyoming church

Mrs Nellie B Bristol died suddenly at her Wyoming home after a period under a doctor's care. Funeral services were led by Rev J N Fitzgerald at St Dominics church Wyoming with burial in Calvary cemetery Brimfield. She was born November 29 1852 in Ohio, married John D Prentice and later David E Bristol, leaving three daughters Luella Colgan Winifred Prentice of Wyoming and Florence Bristol Cluskey of Brimfield. Her death occurred shortly before noon on Thursday. she was found in bed by her daughter Winifred.
