Scout Fund Drive Proceeds for Local Boy Scout Troop
At a Wednesday meeting the charter was presented to the local troop in a ceremony attended by most parents. A house to house drive in town and county to finance the troop was planned and perfected. Donation requests between March 3 and March 8 urged contributions to keep a Scout troop in the community. The goal is 124 dollars per boy per year. Gerald Giggs chairs the committee directing the drive.

Funeral services for Mrs Elizabeth Marvin
Funeral services for Mrs Elizabeth Marvin were held Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev A. and Sremleid of the Methodist church. The Ragged Green chorus was sung by Ira Donald and Mrs Marvin Meyer with piano. Bearers included Bert Siecum and others. Burial in Beimheia cemetery. Daughter of Debert and Eilen Marech, she died July 20 1908 after a long life of faith and church membership. Memorial references include Bible quotes and personal reminiscences from family and friends. The Marvin family thanks well wishers for support.
