Gifts, cards, and a red ribbon bow gift of money marked the day. Miller and Laura have three children: Donald Miller, Shirley Underwood, and another daughter. Thomas Miller has lived in Santa since age six, with ties to Jersey community.

Baltimore based Dr Barbara Young Kistedin appears in Who's Who of American Women for her psychiatry and psychoanalytic work at Johns Hopkins. She studied at Galesburg High School Roux College and Johns Hopkins Medical School and interned at the University of Iowa. Her family includes Rev and Mrs W V Young of North Street.
Mrs Curtis L Cady died Tuesday morning February 17 at Methodist hospital after months of illness. Born June 21, 1892 near Brimfield, she taught in area schools and earned a bachelor degree at the University of Indiana. She married Curtis L Cady in 1919, lived in California eighteen years, then returned to Brimfield after his death. Survivors: two sons Captain Robert Cady in Japan and Captain David E Cady in North Carolina, a sister Mrs Berry Gabba, a niece Mary Jane Luchlyne, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held this afternoon at Union Church, conducted by Reverend Herbert Nazey.
