Mrs Curtis L Cady dies after long illness at 845 Tuesday
Mrs Curtis L Cady died Tuesday morning February 17 at Methodist hospital after months of illness. Born June 21, 1892 near Brimfield, she taught in area schools and earned a bachelor degree at the University of Indiana. She married Curtis L Cady in 1919, lived in California eighteen years, then returned to Brimfield after his death. Survivors: two sons Captain Robert Cady in Japan and Captain David E Cady in North Carolina, a sister Mrs Berry Gabba, a niece Mary Jane Luchlyne, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held this afternoon at Union Church, conducted by Reverend Herbert Nazey.
