Six Farm Bureau Meetings Across Peoria County in 1945

The Peoria County Farm Adviser I. P F Green and local high school vocational agriculture departments organize six meetings from February 20 to March 1 to discuss Agricultural Economics Outlook and topics including fertilisers, insect hazards, legume timing for hay, and pork goals. Meetings will be at Princeville, Ginsford, Dunlap, Chillicothe, Elmwood, and Beinfeld high schools, starting at 3 pm each evening.

BHS Ends Season With Final Home Game at Glasfory

The last game of the season is set for Saturday at Glasfory with BHS hosting. This will be the final appearance of two graduating seniors, likely drawing a large crowd. The team also plays at Glasfory Friday night.

Word has come of the death of Mrs George Stride Scride at her home in Sioux Falls South Dakota. She had been an invalid for many years. Her husband survives her along with a nephew of the late Charles Bayes and a person who has many contacts in the locality where he is well known through frequent visits.
