Allison R Griggs died Sunday morning at his home in Peoria aged 78. He was born February 22, 1871 in Brimfield, son of Bhas P and Mahala Anna Griggs. He married Hattie Waters in Brimfield and had a daughter Zola and two grandchildren. A brother Herman Griggs of Brimfield, a niece Mrs. John Bridsom and Rolland Griggs of Peoria survive. He worked as an explorer for Central Divncis Light Co for forty years until retirement. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Arcadian Presbyterian Church with burial in Brimfield Cemetery.
