The Wm Harding and Son hog sale held on Tuesday drew a good crowd despite poor weather. The sale averaged 65 dollars with a top bid of 150 dollars from Bert Bartholomew of Peoria for No 1 tired son, daughter of Cherry Chief Defender and Mabel Advance. Bartholomew said he came specifically for the sow and would have paid more if needed. The entire offering of sons and gifts was among the best seen in local Duroc sales this season. Messia Harding and Son thank the farmers and breeders who supported the sale.
T J Foley announces agency for Stark Brothers Nurseries and Orchards Co. The orchard offers profitable prospects with Stark Delicious and Stark Gulden Delicious varieties. Prospective planters are invited to call for spring plantings and guidance.
Emma J Pemble executrix of the estate of James H Pemble deceased Peoria County Ill announces before Peoria Probate Court at the April Term on April 4 to hear and adjust all claims against the estate. Notice dated Jan 25 1921.
