The 12th grade list features Evelyn Bayanigar Pat Araon Billie Jo Chase and Jack Slocum Bey White. 10th graders John Beat Eileen Motzke Gary Best Fred Dungan and Margie Smith also appear. Maren Muleaney earns a place in the seventh grade.
Calendar of school activities lists career movie February 10 at Ne School and Lanford High February 10. Elmwood High hosts games February 17 and Brimfield District Tournament runs February 23 24 25 with winner advancing to Canton regional. Father-Son Banquet noted with Med10 IBA Division meeting at Mo School.

He argues 78 million policyholders face loss under current government finance and inflation erodes savings. He calls officials and leaders to oppose taxation and debt driving national bankruptcy.
Timets Commercial Telephone Company announces Brimfield will begin dialing on Wednesday after 9:00 a.m. February 15. Dial switching equipment is installed and telephones placed in homes and offices. A new directory and instructional pamphlet will be distributed, and a Dial Comes to Town film will run at the high school. Vale's Market will handle telephone bill payments under an agreement with Francis L Vale.
Arenous Lodge No 102 hosts a box supper and old time square dance on Saturday night Feb 11 in Elmwood. Public invited bring a box lunch and friends. There will be cake walls sandwiches and free coffee served by the lodge.
Legion members and families invited to a farewell party for Mr and Mrs Velde Joheson at the legion building on Thursday evening February 8. Festivities begin with a put luck supper at 6 PM. Residents urged to bring baskets and their own table service.

French Grove Angus and Howard Moore of Mt. Pleasant Iowa visited their uncle A R Moore and family. Mrs Verne Shaffe planned a two week visit with Git and Mra Myles Coolidge and family at Bailex Ming. Gertrude Kellor g visited Wheato and Chicago last Thursday. Mrs Kellogg and Dorothy spent a day in Kewanee. Lieut Malexn Coowlige of Brlomi spent Friday calling on relatives and friends, left the plane at Peoria airport and returned home the same day.
Social visits and family news from Oak Hill include Merle and P A Coon hosting others in Peoria and Bellevue areas. The page records church attendance, birthday celebrations for Mary Ann Coon, and a Saturday pot luck party with neighbors and relatives in Peoria and surrounding towns.

Mrs Cecil celebrated her 83rd birthday with a family gathering at Mrs Mimer Rigabee’s home in Downers Grove. Attendees included son Roy and wife with children Harold and Keith. Edith Marie and Andrew with spouses. Patricia Nancy Nadne and Jim from Moline. and other Rigabee relatives. Mrs Cecil had been ill since November but attended, though Mrs Harold Cecil and her daughter stayed home due to Sandra’s illness.
Monday February 6 marked wedding anniversaries for Fred Fussner and his wife after 43 years of marriage, Edward Fussner and his wife from Touon 18 years, and Leo Scheikopf and Yra Scheikopf 13 years. A turkey dinner at the Scheikopf home celebrated the event with a large ceremonial cake featuring a miniature bride.
Mr and Mrs Harold DeVries announce the arrival of a son born in February at Garth S Wrancis hospital. The family requests stings to celebrate, noting the newborn brings joy to February.
Russell I Bragg, born May 8, 1899 in Brimfield, died Jan 31 while helping unload gravel for Brimfield Division of the County Highway Department. His funeral at the Johnson Funeral Home featured Masonic rites, a hymn by Rudolph Savage, and burial in Brimfield Cemetery. Survived by Irving Bragg and five brothers and four sisters.
The Irving Bragg Family expresses sincere thanks to friends and neighbors for their sympathy and help during their bereavement.
Frank Keefer eighty eight died Friday at 7 35 am at the home of Charles in Oak Hill. He was born August 4 1869 in Jubilee township and married Gins Dawson in 1897, who died in 1925. Survived by two sons Glen Edwards and Charles Oak Hill two brothers Fred Toulon Ralph Brimfield five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He farmed Peoria county all his life. Funeral 1 30 pm Monday at Patterson funeral home Elmwood Rev T W Rippy officiating burial Elmwood cemetery.
Billie Jo Ghase, daughter of Mr and Mrs Weyne Ghase, earns the Good Citizenship award. She has held class offices, participated in dramatic activities, served on the yearbook staff, cheered, and been active in musical events at the Day's farm near Laura.
