Brimfield Auxiliary Donates To Veterans Support Funds
The Brimfield unit of the American Legion Auxiliary reports monthly donations totaling 33 dollars to a nine point rehabilitation program. They also contribute 75 dollars monthly to a cigarette fund for hospitalized veterans, plus 100 dollars for a children’s fund, 18 dollars to gifts for Yanks, 200 dollars to Red Stocking Christmas, and 600 dollars in stamps for veterans at Peoria State. Funds are raised via Old Settlers stand and an annual card party.
