Walter J Clark dies after sudden illness at Methodist Hospital Peoria
Walter J Clark, age 40, died Saturday at Methodist hospital Peoria after a brief illness. He was born March 13, 1905, son of Lewis H and Carrie Blundy Clark, lived on a farm south of Armfield, and managed it since his father retired. He married Altice Miles in 1925. survived by wife, two sons Dale and Willard, daughter Harriet, parents, sister Pearl Wilson of Canton, and several relatives. Funeral was Tuesday at Clark Memorial Home Elmwood with burial in Brimfield Cemetery. Burial rites conducted by Elmwood lodge and officiated by Reverend Charles Harper. Pallbearers listed as Kenneth Hamilton, Robert Watson, Arthur Sollenberger, Ross Porter, Lee McGoy, and Carlos Howard.
