A pretty home wedding took place at the Reed residence four miles northwest of Brimfield on December 18 1901. Harry B. Davis of Toulon married Miss Lotta Bell daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reed. The ceremony was by Rev J E Mercer with a lavender dress and pink white decorations. Guests included J S Pearce Kewanee Geo H Porsell Bloomington Mabelle Carlson Williamsfield and C B Dunning Leland. After a brief honeymoon the couple will reside in Toulon where Davis is engaged in business.
