Brimfield Boys Triumph After Scrappy Win and Hard Losses

Brimfield swept a busy night with a 34-13 grade school win over Williamsfield, while the high school team suffered its first conference loss 31-15 to Dunlap as Babcock exited with a bad ankle. Earlier, the second teams played a tense 15-14 finish.

4-H Party at Proctor Center in Peoria

The County 4-H club achievement party will be at Proctor Recreation Center Martin and Allen streets Peoria. The event Saturday December 14 at 7 30 p m features group singing recognition of winners in club activities the new sound picture Under the 4 H Flag and games. Township Farm Bureau Officers Elected This Week

George Schiele Frse and Reinhard Bochle were chosen as Farm Bureau directors for 1936 for Medina Richwoods and Chillicothe townships at a Mossville meeting last Thursday. Succeeding Ray Neal, the others retained their posts as new officers welcomed with an oyster sipper and cooperative program talks. Similar meetings are set countywide in December with Brimfield and Millbrook December 11, Kickapoo and Rosefield December 16, Elmwood December 18.

Contracts Set For New School In Brimfield Illinois

Work will start soon on a Brimfield Illinois school after PWA State Director Carl H Bauer announced approval of contracts. Smith and Gibson Jacksonville Illinois won the general contract for $61 161 base bid excluding several numbers. R W Bradley Pontiac Illinois won plumbing and heating for $15 565 with adjustments. The PWA grant totals $45 793. Project duration is about eighteen weeks with an average of 101 workers daily.

Cadwell Sollenberger Wed in Galesburg Thanksgiving

Cadwell of Williamsfield and Sollenberger of Brimfield quietely married at Rev. Harvey Young’s home in Galesburg on Thanksgiving Day. Attendants included Mr. and Mrs. Haridy Caldwell. bride wore royal blue, tan, and black. groom in dark brown. The bride, eldest daughter of the Cadwells, grew up in Williamsfield. the groom, son of the Sollenbergers, from Brimfield. They plan to live in Brimfield, where the groom works for Central Transfer Company.
