Elizabeth Ellen Switzer born October 1842 in Winchester Virginia moved to Ohio then Illinois settling at Cottonwood near Hanna City. Married Ephraim Y Forney in 1865. he died June 1897. Lived at Oak Hill, was postmaster and merchant. Survived by son C W Forney and several sisters and brothers. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery November 27 1902.
