Abraham Lincoln Christmas Food Train will depart Dec 22 with a cargo of 300 cars. Pledges accepted through Dec 10 and donations of food or cash urged via the ROO committee sponsored by Catholic Relief, Lutheran World Relief and Church World Service. Brimfield township solicited next week under Caleb Rosenbohm and Rev T G Harrison.

William T Walliker 90 of 01906 East Nebraska avenue died Tuesday after an eight month illness. Born February 22 186?, he lived in Peoria area most of his life and worked in real estate. Survived by six children seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. services Friday at 2 pm at Govapy Wright mortuary with burial in Princeville cemetery.
Peoria County adopts a 1948 zoning ordinance designating Bromfield Township as an Agricultural district. Buildings on farm land face restrictions including minimum 3 acres per dwelling, setback limits, and road frontage rules.
