Adam Fussner Sr Civil War Veteran Passes in Peoria
Adam Fussner Sr died Sunday August 8 1980 in St. Francis Hospital Peoria at 75. Born March 10 1845 in Großwahlstatt Bavaria he came to America at 18 months. He married Anna K Foesler in Manchester Missouri November 1871 and had ten children. Funeral was at St Josephs Brimfield with burial at Calvary cemetery. Survived by widow three daughters Theresa Petho Madeline Wandeon Elizabeth Page and six sons Adam William Fred Laura Peter Charles. He enlisted March 7 1862 in St Louis as Private Missouri State Militia and was mustered April 11 1862 and discharged April 1885 at Rolla.

Marriage Unites Galesburg Couple on August 9 1920
Fred Keefer and Misa Helen McIntosh were married Monday August 9 1920 at the Methodist parsonage in Galesburg. They were joined by Ed Jessen of Monmouth, a close friend of the bride. The groom is son of F T Keefer of Brimfield and the bride daughter of William Meicateskh of Toulon. They plan to reside at 201 E 4th Ave Monmouth after August 28.

Henry W. Lynch of Peoria seeks the Republican nomination in Illinois 16th district. A practical farmer and banker, he ran a 4590 acre Peoria County farm and bred Shire Hampshire hogs, helped found and fund the Peoria County Farm Bureau, and served as its treasurer.
