Tornado destroys Joe Place home and local notes from 1905

A tornado Friday afternoon completely destroyed the Joe Place home as it traced a path from north of Rimwood through Southport and Oak Hill to Bert Rowcliffe's. The issue also records crop yields, livestock prices, and town events including a bus charter for a local picnic and the death of Ene Shaffer in a Florida flight incident.

Jubilee 4-H Leaders Visit Illinois State Fair
