Old Settlers Pic nic awaits Brimfield crowd Thursday
Brimfield prepares for a large Old Settlers picnic on Thursday August 18 with Rev. George Cady of Pilgrim Congregational Church Chicago delivering the address. The program features the Brimfield Military Band vocal quartets outside talent and a Hall's Cofts vs Brimfield baseball game. All events are free with prizes and a grand ball finale in the Community Theatre. Weather permitting a record turnout is anticipated.

ME Church Notes Sunday Preaching Cancelled At Pon tiac Institute
The pastor will direct music and conduct a Sunday evening service at the Epworth League Institute in Pontiac. Attendance at the institute is expected to be two to three hundred young people. Sunday school meets as usual at 10 o'clock. A new attendance record of 171 was set this past Sunday, surpassing all prior records.

Funeral services held in Chicago and Brimfield with family and friends attending. interment at Brimfield cemetery.
