The Brimbrook driving park meet drew a large crowd as Harry Fisher’s pacing horse Billy failed to pace a mile in 3:15. The mile paced in 3:52, not reaching the expected 3:16. Unofficial census totals list Brimfield and nearby areas with varied farm yields and livestock entries across several dates.

New Faculty Members Announced By School

The Brimfield school faculty for the coming year includes Mr Laws German moving to junior high, Miss Gloria German teaching third grade, Mr Loren Dittus from Mt. Pulaski handling social studies and coaching, Mr Ditton a Western State graduate and athlete, and Mr Roy Lauterdale from Chillicothe teaching music. Grade-school registration for first graders and transfers is set for Friday August 8, with morning and afternoon sessions. State law requires physical exams for all first fifth and ninth graders before school begins. students previously examined at the grade school this spring need no further exams.
