Residents report visits by Mr and Mrs Cow Staniston to Peoria and a stay by Bertha Uny. The Red Ribbon reading room holds its formal opening next Tuesday evening April 30 1878 with an engaging program and speeches. The room will be open daily 10 AM to 10 PM under club rules. Also included are notes from Peoria and Knox County observations about local farms, tile works, and a survey of ancient cliff dwellings and Mound-Builders linked to US Geological Survey studies.
