Mrs. McCormack of Albany and Mrs. W Williams with her daughter visited Bridgetown over the weekend. Mr. W Clifton of the Commercial Bank and wife left for Perth for holidays. Harvest Thanksgiving Services at Bridgetown Church

Harvest Thanksgiving services were held at Bridgetown Methodist Church with strong attendance at morning and evening rites. In the evening, sales were conducted by Mr Nelson and Mr Mesnil. The church was decoratively adorned by the Christian Ladies Society. Discussions followed on plans for the 40th anniversary celebration.
