Wedding of Waller and Machin Captures Community Attention
The large ceremony at the Methodist Church celebrated the marriage of the second son of Mr and the late Mr F Waller of Perth to the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs L Machin of Golden Grove Bridgetown. Rev Norman Inwood officiated at 2 pm on Saturday with a cream satin gown, lace mittens, veil, and bouquet. Bridesmaids Miss Vera Machin and Miss Lorna Machin wore crepe de chine and carried gold lockets. attendants wore coronets and veils. The reception was described as pictured with extensive photography on exiting the church.
